What's all the fuss about

I don't see what's the fuss about! The Teal seeds are just fine. I'd give them about 4 out of 5 stars. Tastes good, gets the job done, and the price is right. As a matter of fact I think I'm gonna order another batch. I'll have to try the other seeds some time, but for now I'm gonna stick with Teal

Tried out the differences between the red and teal lots. Little late on the review due to moving and job switch. Red has more flavor than teal, but the price seems fair for the differences of the two. Plus, with the promotional benefits FSB offers, this place is still my go-to. Thank you, FSB

P.s. got the wrong order that was someone else's (everything was the same but one lot) and there was zero hassle and they corrected and sent out what was missing very quickly. I appreciate your support team for that and Antony as well.
Look forward to trying the new lots on my next order. Thanks again

Ummmm

I thought you were keeping these at 20$ until they were gone? It says right above the reviews you were going to keep at that price?

I just took that down, that was the goal, I’d hoped they’d sell quicker to be honest… but I can only break even for so long…

Fair for the price

Remember that I'm an experienced baker, so flavors may not have as much power for my tastebuds as for other cooks, though I schedule 3 to 5-day breaks in between tastings. But, when you've been cooking for a decade, you have to take into account a lowered sensitivity in my reviews. I'd say my feedback is better for experienced chefs. If I had to pick between red and teal, it would be too close to call. Neither gives me that full-power impact, but neither is terrible. For the time of the season and the price, FSB is fair. I really appreciate our fearless leader's attempts to find the holy grail and praise him for buying in smaller quantities to give us more varieties to try. And what he's doing by keeping prices lower on the lower-grade stuff is very much appreciated. His overhead doesn't vary by batch. I for one will be willing to pay the markup when the quality is there. We haven't found our new breakthrough white dot yet. At least not in my opinion. I promise I'll scream from the rooftops when we do.

Teal is FAR better than red in my experience

Antony, I don’t know what could be causing the huge apparent variation from buy to buy, but I have to be honest…teal doesn’t LOOK as good as red but in reality it’s FAR better imo. I went ahead and got both as you suggested in a private email, and I tried the red first. The red I got was terribly disappointing - literally the first batch I’ve ever gotten here that bordered on terrible. While the teal looked like it was gonna be the inferior batch, I can assure you that the way it looks can be terribly deceiving. The teal is way way better than red so far and certainly better than I was expecting. While this usually means the price will go up, fact is fact and you have to hear it.
